We have RT-PCR tests.

RT-PCR COVID Tests (2-3 day turnaround):

• - RT-PCR tests are the most accurate tests available for COVID-19.
• - Used for travel clearance (be sure to check the requirements for the specific country of your travel).
• - A RT-PCR test (or reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction) uses Nucleic Acid Amplification Tests (NAAT) to detect genetic material.
• - Can be performed with a shallow nose swab.

We are currently out of stock of rapid tests due to a nationwide shortage.

The first step is to book your COVID-19 video assessment as soon as you can. Once you have completed that assessment, you will be able to book a lab appointment.

Our lab is open M-F and closed on weekends.

From the time you come into the lab for your swab, you can expect a 48-72 hour turnaround time for the RT-PCR test.

We are required to collect very specific information and immediately report it to the Department of Public Health (DPH). We gather this information during the video assessment while ensuring that all patients are clear on the testing options that are appropriate for them.

In-network insurance:

$0 for video assessment and PCR test*

Out-of-network insurance or uninsured:

$200 for a video assessment and PCR test

At this time, we do not offer healthcare services to children. Patients must be 18 years of age or older to receive care through Circle Medical.

We accept most PPO insurance plans and a small number of HMO insurance plans.

To verify your specific insurance coverage, you can start booking an appointment. The second to last step of the process of booking an appointment will prompt you to enter in your insurance information so that we can confirm your coverage and provide you with an estimate of your appointment cost.

We recommend booking an appointment for a video screening as soon as you can.

After your video screening, you will be given the ability to book a lab swab appointment within the app for the same day or a day in the future.

You can then come into the lab for your swab appointment. Your results will be available on the app, and you will receive a notification as soon as they are available.

You do not need to book your initial appointment with a doctor. You can book your appointment with any provider that we have available.

Yes, we offer the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine for those in the Bay Area. These vaccines are free.

Our vaccinations are meant for those who have never received a COVID-19 vaccination, or those who have received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine but have not yet received their second dose. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are not interchangeable, so if you have received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine, you cannot get your second dose through the Pfizer vaccine.

In accordance with CDC and CA state guidelines, we are now offering booster shots to patients 18 yrs old and older, who have had their last shot at least 6 months ago. We currently carry both Pfizer and Moderna booster doses. While we will make every effort to accommodate patient preference, the specific booster given is subject to supply and availability.
