Treatment with Circle Medical
Initial Consultation: Setting the Foundation
The first step in your Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT), or menopause treatment, journey is a comprehensive consultation with one of our providers. This session focuses on understanding your health history, current symptoms, and personal goals. After discussing your symptoms and lifestyle, we will create a tailored treatment plan if clinically appropriate.
- Detailed health history review
- Symptom discussion (hot flashes, mood swings, etc.)
- Physical exam and any necessary tests
- Development of a personalized treatment plan that may include hormone therapy, or non hormonal treatments to help alleviate symptoms
Follow-up Appointments: Ensuring Effective Treatment
If it is clinically appropriate to start menopause treatment, we’ll schedule follow-up appointments to ensure your treatment is on track. During these visits, we’ll evaluate your symptom relief, check for any side effects, and adjust your treatment plan as needed to maximize your comfort and health.
- Appointment within 4 to 6 weeks of starting treatment
- Assess symptom improvement and side effects
- Adjustments to dosage or therapy as needed
Ongoing Check-ins: Maintaining Long-Term Health
Once your menopause hormone therapy (MHT), or menopause treatment, is well-established, we’ll continue with regular check-ins to monitor your progress. These visits help us ensure that your treatment continues to work for you, with adjustments made if necessary. Routine check-ins are typically scheduled every 3 to 6 months.
- Scheduled every 3 to 6 months
- Monitor ongoing symptoms and effectiveness of treatment
- Adjust therapy as necessary for optimal results

That said, MHT may not be suitable for everyone. If you have certain health conditions, such as a history of breast cancer, blood clots, or stroke, we may need to explore other non-hormonal menopause treatment options.
During your consultation, we'll take a close look at your health history and symptoms to determine if treatment is the right choice for you.
